We reached Pantwadi from Dehradun on 18th of October at around 11 O’clock in the morning and started for Nagtibba base camp at 12.30pm. We were accompanied by Sh Gambhir Chauhan as guide. It was raining whole day but ultimately we could make it to the base camp by 4pm. We were greatly impressed by the good hospitality at the camp. Had snacks and subsequently delicious dinner at night. The arrangements at the camp were pretty good.
Next day in the morning at 7am we started for the summit. We first reached at Nagtibba Temple by negotiating a bit difficult trail. Spent some time at the temple and headed for summit. Were able to summit in about 90 minutes. The trail is a tough one and steep hight. Summit is mesmerizing. Ultimate view of Himalaya ranges. Had good photographs. Spent about 40 minutes and then started climbing down for base camp and subsequently for Pantwadi for our return journey to Dehradun. The total trek distance we covered in two days (going and comming to Pantwadi) was about 28 Kms.
We were really impressed by good professional arrangements by Sh Gambhir Singh ji.
All in all it was a small but very good trek and would like to recommend the same nature lovers.
